Quick Ideas for Using the Video:
- Use the video as you conduct a STEAM or Arts Integration activity with students designing a float for a parade in their community. Have them research the route of the parade and any rules and guidelines or themes of the parade and design the float to meet the criteria and successfully travel the route.
- Extend the activity and have students build a model of the float or work in a group to build the actual float to appear in the parade.
