Quick Ideas for Using the Video:
- Prior to viewing the video, have students write what they think of when they hear the words “landscape art.” Once viewing is complete, have them compare their original thoughts about landscapes with the artwork in the video. Did they expect to see Native Americans on horses or Civil War battles? Do they feel those are landscapes? Why or why not?
