Quick Ideas for Using the Video:

  • For Discussion: Have students respond to the exhibition as an art critic and offer their evaluation of how it’s put together and the works included.
  • Activity Idea: Use the video in conjunction with an activity that has students creating their own artwork inspired by and/or reflective of trees. Have students write a short description of their work and how it was influenced by trees and include that description in an exhibition of the students’ work.

*Tours take students to laboratories, studios, workspaces, museums and other diverse “in the field” and community locations related to the area of study.
